For October’s Culture Day, Museum Hanmi presents a special exhibition tour in which participants explore artworks through one another’s eyes and words.

Held in conjunction with the current Roger Ballen exhibition, 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨: 𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙮, at Museum Hanmi Samcheong, this participatory program invites visitors to work in pairs, taking turns wearing a blindfold while their partner describes the artworks.

As participants rely on each other, asking and answering questions, their perspectives and interpretations intertwine. Moving beyond familiar ways of looking, the program offers an opportunity to imagine artworks through another person’s words and explore new possibilities for experiencing art through different senses and interpretations.
