김영준(1977~ )은 홍익대학교에서 조소를 전공하고 프랑스 렌 에콜 데 보자르에서 조형예술 국가 디플롬(DNAP)을, 파리 8대학교에서 사진학 학사 및 조형예술 석사 학위를 취득했다. 석사 논문에서는 ’조각의 사진적 미학’을 주제로 조각과 사진의 관계를 다뤘다. 김영준은 중대형 카메라를 활용하여 조각적 밀도를 구현한다. 특히 인체와 자연 간의 조형적 유사성과 구조적 대비를 통해 시지각과 촉각 사이의 감각을 유도한다. LensCulture, QPN상, HSBC 사진상 등 여러 국제 공모에서 최종 후보에 올랐다. 〈Des Arbres et Des Hommes〉 연작은 제1회 낭시 사진 비엔날레를 비롯해 낭트, 스트라스부르 등에서 전시되었으며, 마들렌 미요-뒤렌베르거의 현대 사진 컬렉션에 영구 소장되어 있다.

Young June KIM studied Sculpture at Hongik University in Seoul and obtained the DNAP in Fine Arts from the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, and later completed a Bachelor’s and Master 2 degree in Photography and Contemporary Art at the University of Paris 8. His thesis, A Photographic Aesthetics of Sculpture, explored the relationship between sculpture and photography. KIM uses a large-format camera to convey sculptural density in his photographic work. By highlighting formal resemblances and structural contrasts between the human body and nature, he seeks to evoke sensory experiences that lie between vision and touch. He has been shortlisted for several international photography awards, including the LensCulture Black & White Photography Awards, the QPN Prize, and the HSBC Prize for Photography. His series Des Arbres et Des Hommes was exhibited at the first L’Évènement Photographique in Nancy, as well as in Nantes and Strasbourg, and is part of the permanent collection of Madeleine Millot-Durrenberger.
