𝘐 𝘈𝘮 𝘢 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘍𝘭â𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳

2026.04.29. Wed.

The German philosopher Walter Benjamin described the 'flâneur' as a thinking being who wanders without a specific purpose, observing the city. Here, 'aimlessness' does not mean meaninglessness, but rather an attitude that allows for free perception and interpretation through maintaining an appropriate distance from what is observed.

The April Culture Day program, 𝘐 𝘈𝘮 𝘢 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘍𝘭â𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳, begins from this idea. Participants are invited to set aside the pressure of having to understand artworks and instead take time to slowly wander through the museum—seeing, feeling, and reflecting in their own way.

Experience the museum as a space for wandering, and discover your own perspective and sensibility. We welcome those who wish to step away from familiar ways of viewing and experience the museum at a slower pace.
