For our September Culture Day program, Museum Hanmi will host a small-group study session ahead of Roger Ballen’s full exhibition, opening at Museum Hanmi Samcheong this October. The session will explore Ballen’s artistic practice and its art-historical context.

Participants will explore a selection of photobooks and reference materials consulted by the museum in preparation for the exhibition, formulate questions about Roger Ballen’s work, and share their thoughts with one another.

We hope this session will provide an opportunity to share our questions and new insights, leading to a deeper experience of the upcoming exhibition. We look forward to your participation.
