뮤지엄한미 포토북 토크, 이번 토크는 구본창 작가와 함께 이미지와 텍스트의 관계를 탐구한 책 『모든 것의 아름다움 La beauté d’un Tout』을 소개합니다. 7가지의 주제를 다룬 이 책에서는 각 장마다 구본창 작가의 사진과 프랑수와 술라주의 글이 교차하며 배치되어 있습니다. 사진과 텍스트의 관계를 중점으로 구본창 작가와 함께 책에 대해 이야기를 해보는 시간입니다.

* 구본창은 내면의 깊은 사색을 통해 자신을 넘어, 시대를 반영한 작업을 보여준다. 또한 간결하면서도 미니멀한 그의 작업은 섬세하고도 감각적인 색채와 더불어 한국현대사진에 그 만의 독특한 자리매김을 하게 하였다.

* 프랑수아 술라주는 프랑스 철학자이자 파리 8대학에서 교수로 재직하였다. 다수의 책을 집필하였으며, 대표작으로는 12개의 언어로 번역된 『사진미학』이 있다.

The education program ‘Photo Book Talk vol.2’ introduces the book 𝓛𝓪 𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽é 𝓭’𝓾𝓷 𝓣𝓸𝓾𝓽, which explores the relationship between images and text, with photographer KOO Bohnchang. This book covers seven themes, with each chapter featuring a juxtaposition of Koo Bohnchang’s photographs and François Soulages’ writings. The discussion will focus on the interplay between photography and text.

* KOO Bohnchang’s work reflects deep introspection and the era he lives in. His minimalist and delicate approach, combined with his refined and sensory use of color, has established a unique position in contemporary Korean photography.

* François Soulages is a French philosopher and former professor at Paris 8 University. He has authored numerous books, including 𝓔𝓼𝓽𝓱é𝓽𝓲𝓺𝓾𝓮 𝓭𝓮 𝓵𝓪 𝓹𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝓲𝓮, which has been translated into 12 languages.
