손창안(1982~)은 서울예술대학교 사진과를 졸업하고 2020년 독일 라이프치히의 Hochschule Grafik und Buchkunst(HGB)의 미디어 아트과에서 디플롬 학위를 취득했다. 작가는 카메라를 사용하지 않지만 사진이 가진 기록성을 차용하여 본인의 기억 속에서 회상하는 지점으로 되돌아가게 해주는 발판으로 사용한다. 본인이 보낸 시간을 증명하고자 수집한 이미지들을 여러 방식으로 변주하며 시간에 대한 자신의 심상을 나타낸다. 2014년 독일의 Halle14에서의 전시를 시작으로 나폴리, 베오그라드, 베를린 등 유럽의 여러 갤러리에서 단체전에 참여한 바 있으며 2021년에는 빌리 뮌첸베르크 포럼의 예술 부문에서 수상하기도 했다.

Changan SON graduated Department of Photography of Seoul Institute of the Arts and received Diplom from Hochschule Grafik und Buchkunst(HGB) Leipzig in Media Art at 2020. The artist chooses not to use a camera, but borrows the recordability of photography and uses it as a springboard to flashback to the point of his memory. To prove the time he has spent, he plays a variation with the collected images to represent his perception of time. Starting with an exhibition at Halle14 in Germany in 2014, he has participated in group exhibitions at galleries in Europe, including Naples, Belgrade, and Berlin, and was awarded the Willi Münzenberg Forum's Kunstwettbewerb prize in 2021.
