Museum Hanmi Samcheong is designed as a circular structure where three blocks intersect around a central 'Water Garden.' On the basement level (B1), there is a multi-purpose hall, garden, café, and a corridor-style exhibition space. The ground floor (Level 1) houses three exhibition galleries, storage facilities, and a showcase connected to the storage area. The second-floor lounge is used for a variety of cultural and artistic programs, including membership events and exhibition-related lectures.

Multi Hall

Located on the basement level (B1), the multi hall features a 7-meter-high front wall that enables the presentation of images and videos on an impressive, large scale. Equipped with concert hall–level acoustics, it is a versatile space designed to accommodate a wide range of programs, including exhibitions, performances, and lectures, offering visitors a highly immersive experience.

Collection Storage

The storage facility houses approximately 20,000 photographic works collected over the past 20 years. The cool storage is maintained at 15°C and 35% relative humidity, while the cold storage is kept at 5°C and 35% relative humidity. All interior materials are made of neutral, pH 7 archival-grade products. Notably, the cold storage extends the lifespan of the collection to approximately 500 years.

Museum Hanmi Samcheong Annex is a renovated three-story building that houses exhibition spaces, the Museum Hanmi Academy, and a bookstore. Through exhibitions, publications, and a wide range of educational programs, it operates as a multidisciplinary cultural space where artists, photography, knowledge, and the arts intersect. In addition, the newly created rooftop offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of Seoul.
