The second session of the exhibition tour program, 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦: 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘋𝘰 𝘞𝘦 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩?, will be held.

YOOK Myong-shim, HONG Soon-tai, HAN Chungshik, and PARK Young-Sook are photographers who explored the expressive possibilities and role of photography from distinct perspectives amid the changes of postwar Korean society.

In this program, participants will tour the exhibition with an educator and examine the artists’ works within the context of Korean photographic history. Afterwards, participants will write keywords representing each artist on paper tags and reinterpret the works through their own perspectives.

We hope this program offers an opportunity to reflect on how photography has observed and documented its era, and what meanings these images can hold from our perspective today.
